A family business since 1994

Innovative Pest Management was founded in July 1994 by Mr. Carl J. Doucette. After spending 25 years in the pest control industry working for a major pest control company, Carl thought there had to be a better and more effective method than drowning the insect. With this belief he began his own company putting forth the philosophy “Pest Management Through Creative Strategies”.

Carl J. Doucette
Carl J. Doucette’s career in the pest control industry began in late 1970’s with Western Exterminator Company. Here, he received several promotions that eventually led him to the role of Los Angeles Operations Manager of Western Exterminator. Throughout Carl’s career he has been instrumental in a vast number of the major changes and developments that the pest control industry has experienced. In the 1970’s and early 1980’s he joined the Educational Committee of the Structural Pest Control Board which drafted and successfully ushered into law the existing pre-licensing educational requirements as well as mandatory continuing education requirements. In 1992, Governor Pete Wilson appointed Carl to a four year term as a member of the Structural Pest Control Board which regulates the California Pest Control Industry. In 1996 Governor Wilson re-appointed Mr. Doucette to another four year term on the board.

Darrell Roach
Darrell Roach has been co-owner of Innovative Pest Management since 2004. In 1997, Darrell Roach also began his pest control career in at Western Exterminator where he was awarded numerous promotions that led him to a position in management. During his career he has served in several leadership positions in the pest control industry such as Chairman of the South Bay District of the Pest Control Operators of California as well as Director for the District.

Jennifer Roach
Jennifer currently serves as office manager at Innovative Pest Management with over 32 years of experience in the pest control industry.
